My first real recordings were a combination of sequenced files mixed with multi-track recordings of live instruments. I would typically compose the songs on the sequencer and then overdub myself or a few friends on the final recordings.
My more recent recordings are all solo and produced on Logic Pro software on a Mac computer. The drum tracks are all performed by a virtual drummer and I perform all the other parts. It’s amazing what can be done on music production software these days.
